While most spectacle lenses today come standard with an anti-reflective coating, the reflected hue typically appears greenish or blueish. Certain coatings are highly reflective, obscuring our eyes when viewed from certain angles by others. This is particularly problematic during online video meetings, where our eyes may be obscured by a distracting reflection.

The visual transmittance of Tokai NRC Digital Filter Gray (NRC-DFG) is 89%, equivalent to an 11% solid tinted lens, while the visual transmittance of Tokai NRC Digital Filter Rose (NRC-DFR) is 90%, equivalent to a 10% solid tinted lens.
